An innocent man was attacked because his clothes matched the description a woman had made-up about her alleged rapist.

Johnathan Smith’s ex-girlfriend told him she had been raped and gave a description of her supposed attacker of the man’s clothes.

Smith then attacked a man he saw in the same clothes but she admitted she had made up the allegation.
